Help Cape Town Tourism appoint 3 board members

Cape Town Tourism (CTT) is calling for nominations of individuals who are members of CTT and are experienced tourism professionals to fill three vacant positions on the CTT Board.  Following the nomination process, elections held during the October AGM of the organisation will confirm the new Board appointees.

“Since the Board plays an active role in driving the strategy and success of the organisation, the members of the Board are critical to the sustainability, achievements and growth of the tourist industry in the city,” says Chairman, Enver Mally.

In terms of the CTT constitution, the current vacancies on the eight-member Board should be filled by three people defined as ‘black persons’ in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, and the nominees must hold South African citizenship.

Preference will be given to nominees with skills and experience in at least two of the following:

  • Business development/Commercial/Sales
  • Accounting/Finance/HR
  • Transport/Airlines
  • IT/Digital/Web
  • MICE

To submit a nomination, download a nomination form – see below – and submit the completed form with the required documentation as stated on the form to
