The Fairway Hotel & Golf Resort supports Autism Month

In support of National Autism Awareness Month, The Fairway Hotel & Golf Resort and Randpark Golf Club auctioned a prize at the Annual Golf Day to raise funds for this worthy cause. An excess of R4000.00 was raised for Els for Autism.

Autism is a neural development disorder that affects information processing in the brain. While there are a range of symptoms, autism is characterized by impaired communication and social interaction, as well as restricted and repetitive behavior. Autism often becomes apparent before the age of three and affects numerous children worldwide.

“At The Fairway we pride ourselves in being actively involved in community projects throughout the year. By contributing a prize for auction we are honoured to have helped raise awareness for Autism Month,” says Christopher Trimble, The Fairway General Manager.

The Fairway Hotel & Golf resort forms part of the Guvon Hotels & Spas portfolio and is situated on the Randpark Golf Course, minutes away from Cresta Shopping Centre.
