Fancourt partners with SA Airlink on golfing getaway

Fancourt has partnered with SA Airlink, to offer a great value 3-Night Golfing Getaway during the month of June that includes return flights between Cape Town and George, 3 nights’ luxury accommodation at the Fancourt Hotel with breakfast, as well as three complimentary rounds of golf at the Montagu golf course.

Adding to the appeal of this value-add package is a fitment assessment at the on-site TaylorMade Performance Lab, where expert PGA professionals will determine the perfect club fitting for each guest’s individual swing.

The Montagu golf course, along with Fancourt’s other two courses, The Links and Outeniqua, was recently listed among the country’s 20 finest courses in the Golf Digest Top 100 Golf Courses rankings for 2012.

Set within 613 hectares of lush countryside, Fancourt is the Garden Route’s premier leisure and lifestyle destination, renowned as much for its internationally acclaimed golf courses as for its two luxury hotels and choice of three superb restaurants, as well as its spa and wellness offering. In recognition of its outstanding golf and hospitality offering it was voted Best Luxury Golf Resort in South Africa in the 2011 World Luxury Hotel Awards.

It is a golfer’s paradise with superb facilities that include a Club House and a world-class Golf Academy complete with South Africa’s only state-of-the-art TaylorMade Performance Lab, manned by full-time teaching professionals equipped to offer expert advice and tuition, as well as two Pro Shops with a wide variety of clothing, accessories and hardware.

While golfers at all skill levels may improve their swing at three Gary Player-designed golf courses, their non-golfing partners are free to relax in the luxury spa with its indoor pool, or visit the gymnasium, the hair salon or boutiques. Mountain biking, horse riding, picnics, walks and hikes can be arranged on request, and there are plenty of sightseeing opportunities with the coastal towns of Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and Mossel Bay, within easy driving distance.
