Glenburn Lodge gets a facelift

Smokey walls, velvety Fleur-de-lys begging to be stroked and smouldering chocolate accents -Glenburn Lodge’s Conservatory has been revamped in gorgeous winter hues, to the delight of its regular patrons.

“Glenburn Lodge has always been known for its beautiful setting and attention to detail,” Nigel Peel, Glenburn Lodge General Manager explains. “By revamping the popular restaurant area with a fresh and upmarket look, we aim to uphold our reputation and live up to our guests’ expectations. The hotel has focused on making the restaurant more flexible and inviting by including a new layout and new soft furnishings. This venue can now shamelessly rub shoulders with 5-star dining decor.”

Warmer 3

The decor team of Nowadays Interiors, Cathrin Bolt, Ane Coertzen & Rene Matthee combined metallic sheer curtains, rustic mirrors and subtle Fleur-de-lys patterns on the chairs. This elegant combination leaves room to dress the restaurant  to suit the mood of any occasion. The décor becomes a canvas for changing scenes ranging from a business breakfast, a classy lunch or a glamorous dinner. Seating up to 100, the refreshed venue easily accommodates Indoor BBQ grills, Mongolian stir fry wok style menus as well as carvery buffet evenings.

Glenburn Lodge forms part of the Guvon Hotels portfolio. The group further consists of the five star Kloofzicht Lodge & Spa, the four star Umbhaba Lodge in Hazyview, The Fairway Hotels & Golf Resort on the Randpark Golf Course, as well as All Suite on 14TH in Fairlands, Johannesburg.
