Sheraton Pretoria appoints new Executive Chef
Renowned for his exquisite African cuisine, Hanroe Erasmus has been appointed Executive Chef of Sheraton Pretoria Hotel as of the start of 2015.
Having spent a number of very successful years at African Pride Melrose Arch Hotel, he re-launched the March restaurant in 2013, with a new African inspired menu that was well received. Erasmus is no stranger to the spotlight as he won Taste of Joburg for two consecutive years, 2012 and 2013, and was awarded ‘Dish of the Festival Award’ for his Kudu Wellington and Rooibos smoked Springbok loin and truffled samp. In 2014 he was appointed director of the South African Chefs’ Association and he received the Protea Hotels ‘Food and Beverage achiever of the year’ award.
With Hanroe Erasmus as Executive Chef, Sheraton Pretoria Hotel will, undoubtedly, have mouths watering.
