Massinga Beach gets TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award

Massinga Beach, in Inhambane Province of Mozambique  today announced that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Approximately 10 percent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

Massinga Beach has also been invited to participate in the 2012 World Luxury Hotel Awards™ who note that “Luxury is changing. It is not (only) about good food or service. It’s increasingly about discretion and simplicity. It’s a bold approach to exclusive hospitality! A combination of different factors such as facilities & service excellence, exceptional food, attention to detail, effective management, and many more not mentioned here, are part and parcel of the very ‘legendary hotel’.”
