Protea Hotel Waterfront Centurion becomes Protea Hotel Centurion

The Protea Hotel Waterfront Centurion, conveniently located between Johannesburg and Pretoria in SA’s economic powerhouse of Gauteng, has changed its name to the Protea Hotel Centurion.

The GDS codes remain as follows:

  • Sabre: 45082;
  • Galileo: 97472;
  • Amadeus: PRYWAT and
  • Worldspan: PWATE.

This elegant 4–Star Hotel is within walking distance of the Centurion Gautrain Station, the Centurion shopping mall as well as Supersport park cricket stadium. The hotel has 131 standard and deluxe African themed bedrooms, 44 modern contemporary semi-self-catering suite apartments and a studio room. The hotel also boasts a VIP presidential suite with a balcony, which can be used for private cocktail functions. This brings the total number of rooms to 177.

Protea Hotel Centurion has a fully equipped day–conference centre offering personalised venue set ups and a variety of package options to create memorable events.
