Wild Horizons unveils Vic Falls Canopy Tour

Wild Horizons, the tourism and adventure activities business of Tourvest’s Accommodation and Activities (TAA) division, has launched a new eco-adventure tour in Victoria Falls which will be available for bookings from 1 June 2013.

Known as the Vic Falls Canopy Tour, it consists of a network of slides, trails and rope bridge walkways within the canopy of the hardwood forest of the Zambezi gorges, and offers spectacular views of the Zambezi River rapids, the Victoria Falls bridge and the spray from the Victoria Falls.

This unique experience is suitable for adventure seekers of all ages and allows a person to observe this unique riverine forest from above, below and within the canopy itself,‰ says TAA chief executive Gary Elmes.

Wild Horizons operates at Victoria Falls on both the Zimbabwean and Zambia sides and Chobe in Botswana.  It offers a range of tours, transfers and ground-handling services as well as rafting, canoeing, elephant-back safaris, high-wire activities, lion encounters and helicopter flips.
