Wings Travel upgrades Amanda Claassens

Wings Travel Management has announced that Amanda Claassens will head up its Middle East Region, operating out of Dubai.

With offices in South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Brazil and the Middle East, Wings has provided oil and gas, marine, corporate and government travel expertise for the past 20 years.

Amanda Claassens has worked as head of operations for the Dubai office for the past two years. As part of her new head of region duties for the Middle East, she also will be responsible for Wings’ Cyprus operations.

She has been with Wings for seven years and began her career in the Pretoria, South Africa, office as a fares and ticketing consultant. She then progressed to assistant branch manager then head of operations in Pretoria. She then took on the job as head of operations at Wings’ corporate headquarters in Johannesburg.

“Amanda Claassens demonstrates a passion for making our clients a priority and ensuring each receives a personalised experience,” said Wings Travel CEO Tony Sofianos. “She is an asset to Wings, but more importantly she is an asset to the travellers who rely on her expertise.”
